Question/Problem: Today my Laptop froze while doing normal browsing/chat/etc applications, so I had to do a hard reset (Power button. Terrible, but not a permanent mode of turning it off since I prfer shutting the bird down properly). I went to reboot and the laptop refused to boot Windows at all. It first tried System Repair, but any time it tried booting, it ultimately BSOD'd and began to try again. Now it seems to not want to boot at all past loading. Eeerrrgggh. Do I have an overglorified paperweight on my hands driving me to the brink of insanity, or can I possibly restore it to factory default (Painful choice) and somehow access the recovery part of the HD through the BIOs? (Boot menu only offers to start normally or repair itself.), or is it possible it can be salvaged without a replacement or restore?

Operating System, Version and Service Pack: Windows Vista Home, no Service Packs.

Web Browser and Version: Firefox 3.0.2 (Borrowing a machine with only Explorer. IT BURNS! ;_;)

Your level of experience (we simplify or explain instructions based on how you answer): Beginner to intermediate. I know what people mean if they use some terms. ;)

When did the problem start? Has it been going on constantly since then? Today. >_<

Any steps you've taken to troubleshoot?

Run System Repair... Multiple Times
Attempted a normal boot or two, looked in BIOs for clues to help my computer, tried to use the Boot Menu to get Safe Mode (Safe Mode is not appearing).

Yeah so I've been working on getting as many fanart as possible from the K-On fandom. Been a long tedious task but it's finally over. Anyway, uploaded my first album for you guys to enjoy. Consider it a early Christmas present. I call it the Mugi and Sawako on Everyone Album. Exactly what it says on the tin, as many fanart featuring Mugi in a number of different pairs (mostly Mio or Yui). To be honest, it's more Mugi then Sawako since I couldn't find much fanart featuring the latter. Anyway, enjoy...
